Hariyali Chicken
Hariyali chicken is a delicacy from North Indian cuisine. It is prepared by cooking the chicken in the green paste made from mint leaves, coriander leaves, and green chillies with some onions, ginger and garlic. The dish is finished off with some garam masala, kasuri methi and some yogurt for some sourness.

Ingredients
  1. Chicken boneless - 250 gm (Cut into bite size pieces)
  2. Mint leaves - 1 cup
  3. Coriander leaves - 1 cup
  4. Onion - 1 no.
  5. Garlic - 4 cloves
  6. Ginger - 1” piece
  7. Long green pepper - 1 no. (Optional)
  8. Green chillies - 2-3 no’s
  9. Water - for grinding
  10. Oil - 2 tablespoon
  11. Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Kasuri methi - 1 teaspoon
  13. Yogurt - 1 tablespoon
Instructions
  1. Add mint leaves. Coriander leaves, onion, garlic, ginger, long green pepper, green chillies and some water to a blender and grind it to a fine paste.
  2. Heat a kadai and pour oil and add the chicken pieces and fry them for few minutes flipping the sides.
  3. Add the green paste that was grinded earlier, mix well and cook for few minutes.
  4. Add garam masala, kasuri methi and yogurt, mix well and cook till the oil separates stirring in between.
  5. Transfer it to a serving dish.
  6. Serve hot roti, Chapattis and rice.
